LIGHT TO BE SEEN

Artistic and participative social integration project intended to raise awareness of the work done by the Down de Lleida Association.
Over the course of a year, the project involved children in the association in working sessions, educational workshops, the collection, cleaning and handling of hundreds of packaging bottles and the design of a lighting assembly, all leading up to the installation of three Christmas lights in the city of Lleida.
At Christmas in 2014, the project was part of ANOTHER EXHIBITION, a display mounted at CaixaForum in Barcelona featuring artistic projects intended to raise awareness of socially vulnerable people.
Lights to Be Seen By was awarded aid by ”la Caixa” Foundation as part of its Art for Social Improvement programme.
