The installation featured a series of small ‘scenes’ that displayed various products made and/or designed in Barcelona and Catalonia (mostly items of furniture and lighting). In the area below the arches, flexible floors raised above the ground acted as a backdrop for the products. In the centre of the courtyard, a large structure used traditional slatted blinds to create various inhabited spaces that evoked the Mediterranean spirit and life lived part indoors, part outdoors.
