Experimental interior décor for a Boeing Business Jet plane, a project that presents a visionary alternative and eschews the conservative luxury of this type of plane for private use.
The design of The Flying Carpet emerged from taking a new look at the experience of business-class travel on planes. It proposed a fluid, comfortable and informal setting for visitors, with a special emphasis on spaces without hierarchies for resting, switching off, meeting others and communicating above the clouds. To heighten the sense of travelling, the interior of the cabin was transformed using a chromatic/chameleon-like effect, capturing the colours and hues of the ground below.
