The trophy for this literary prize symbolically reproduces the shape of a book, the covers and pages of which are made of diverse materials, among them wood, marble, brass, stone and copper. These fine materials, used since ancient times, evoke the past and are a reference to the layers of the history of the city of Barcelona.
